Polling The Albanian Election

First row seats to the Democracy show.

Two weeks ago, I used a decade of polling data that Zogby International had done in Iran to give some context to what is currently happening on the ground there.

This got me thinking about polls we have done in other nations where democracy and elections are relatively new and voters may fear repercussions from anti-democratic authorities that still hold power. What we have found is that an electorate's willingness to give honest answers to pollsters is a great indicator of peoples' acceptance of and demand for democracy, which I am happy to report is an irrepressible force all over the world.
