America The Cautious

As investors and voters, U.S. citizens are looking for stability.

I have been quoted in many places, but one of my favorites is on a Starbucks cup. The coffee company asked me to contribute a quote to its "The Way I See It" series, which features quotes from the famous and not so well-known.

Here is what I wanted to say to all those imbibers of myriad forms of caffeine: "In three decades of polling, I've found that while individuals make mistakes in judgment, America as a whole rarely does. A collective wisdom emerges from a poll that is far greater than the sum of its parts."
