Jordan Mercer leads Zogby’s rankings of business lenders, cash advance funders and debt relief companies. Before Zogby, Jordan spent six years underwriting merchant cash advances at two New York funders and five years on the other side, helping owners restructure stacked positions.

That background is the point. Jordan has written the reconciliation clauses funders now ignore, priced factor rates that were never converted to APR for the customer, and sat with owners while daily debits cleared against empty accounts. Zogby’s rule that the APR comes first is Jordan’s rule.
