The winesmiths at The Federalist rolled up their sleeves and fashioned this Cabernet to quench your thirst for blackberry, cinnamon spice, and American craftsmanship. Now you can up your sleeves and uncork a bottle. The Federalist Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied with hints of black cherry and cassis. The wine is from the Lodi AVA and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Sirah and Sangiovese. Grapes from different vineyard blocks were fermented separately to preserve ideal characteristics of each. Each block spends an average of 18 days on the skins. After pressing, the wine spends 15 Months in 35% new oak.
