Jorge Miranda holds a degree in Oenology from the University of Talca. His international experience includes technical visits to Italy, the United States and Spain during their wine harvests. Jorge joined Vi帽a Concha y Toro in 1997, and since then has been in charge of wines for the local market, gaining vast experience in the production of wines from different lines and Chilean valleys. In 2007, he joined the winemaking team for Frontera, where he helped incorporate new white and red varietals. The color of Concha Y Toro Frontera Cabernet/Merlot is ruby-like and it is bright. On the palate, it is fruity with red plum and varietal characteristics. A medium dry, tannic palate, with medium body harmonize with a good finish. This wine marries two of the classic Bordeaux grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon offers character, complexity and longevity, while Merlot adds softer tannins and elegance. This everyday wine complements the heartiest foods. Serve at room temperature.
