Created in 2004 in Walla Walla, Washington, House Wine was conceived by ex-rock n’ roll manager and award-winning Washington winemaker Charles Smith. Inspired by the everyday table wines of Europe, Smith’s vision was to create a delicious wine at a maximum value and quality, with an iconic yet simplistic label. Steak House Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep color that leads with aromatics of blackberry and forest floor. Juicy raspberry and strawberry notes marry with black pepper on the mid-palate. This smooth Cabernet finishes with supportive tannins and lingering developed fruit. It has a rich, potent aroma of leather, fruit and salted meat. It is dry and smooth as it meets your tongue but shows flavors of dark fruit and some soft tannins as they get acquainted.
