Questions On Controversial Issues

For 25 years and counting, we have consistently asked questions to accurately reflect public opinion on a wide variety of topics - from political to cultural. We ask the tough questions and we believe asking a tough question and getting an answer is better than making assumptions about how Americans feel about controversial topics.

Our writers work with our clients on question and script development. There are occasions when survey questions may be interpreted in a way that we did not intend. There is a certain amount of subjectivity in questionnaire design and we do our best to meet the needs of our clients while maintaining our editorial standards. There will be times when questions on controversial issues will simply make people uncomfortable but that doesn't mean we should not ask controversial questions.

We trust that there is valuable insight to be gained even if the question pertains to a controversial issue. We have been called left; we have been called right, and everything in between. Although we have done work for political groups from both ends of the spectrum, we are an independent polling firm and our only agenda is to find out and report what Americans are really thinking.
