NEWS ADVISORY - Press Conference Call
University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Zogby International to Host Panel of Experts to Discuss Support for Senate Finance Committee's Proposed Healthcare Legislation
Assignment Editors/Producers/Reporters and other interested parties: John Zogby, President and CEO of Zogby International and S. Ward Casscells, M.D., vice president of external affairs and public policy and the John Edward Tyson Distinguished Professor in Cardiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston will co-host a special press briefing via conference call to release data from a new poll about the level of support for the proposed healthcare legislation. The briefing will include a panel of experts followed by a Q&A session. This is a perfect opportunity for a discussion with industry leaders!

- Thomas A. Scully, former Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) from 2001-2003 under President George W. Bush. Scully currently is Senior Counsel at Alston & Bird LLP, a law and lobbying firm
- U.S. Congressman John Culberson, 7th District, Texas. In Congress, John's priorities include strengthening the economy by cutting taxes, creating jobs, and balancing the budget; securing the border, advancing medical and scientific research; and improving Houston transportation. He is also a member of the House Appropriations Committee
