As Zogby International's new Administrative Executive, Michael Calogero serves as an advisor to the President and also provides direction and focus for all non-financial operations. Mr. Calogero is also responsible for providing guidance on corporate strategic planning, future growth opportunities and company expansion.
He previously served as a senior consultant for major Zogby International projects.
Mr. Calogero has had a varied and broad business career spanning nearly 25 years. He has been involved with the association management, manufacturing, health care and insurance industries, and has been responsible for such corporate activities as operations and business administration, financial profit and loss, human resource management, planning and program development, communications, strategic development, organizational development and legislative advocacy. He has held a number of senior level positions during his career. He served as Vice President and Executive Director of an Employer Association that provided direct business and employee relation's services to member companies as well as legislative advocacy in Washington D.C. and Albany, New York. Mr. Calogero also served Blue Cross-and Blue Shield Utica/Watertown as Senior Vice President for Administration. During his career, he has also provided business start-up services to a Physician IPA (Independent Practice Association). Mr. Calogero holds a Bachelor of Science degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York. He is a former member of the Utica Rotary Club and has volunteered with many community organizations. He currently serves as President of St. Joseph's Nursing Home Board and has served as Chairman of the board for the American Lung Association. He has served as a board member for the Faxton Hospital Foundation, the Upstate Roundtable on Manufacturing, and various committees of the local United Way. He was named the 1996 Salvation Army Honorary Chair of the Christmas Kettle Drive.
Mr. Calogero lives in Westmoreland, N.Y. with his wife, Christine. They have a son and a daughter.
