Zogby People

Shane Nelson is Zogby International's Government/Special Projects Executive.

Overseeing the development and operation of Zogby's expanding overseas operations, Nelson has been instrumental in establishing the company's newest operating location in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He also manages the Zogby's strategic planning functions and business analysis efforts.

Nelson is a retired military officer with extensive experience in operations, both overseas and domestic along with broad management and leadership experience at every level of the Department of Defense including the Pentagon. He has been stationed in six countries overseas and brings a wealth of experience in various cultures and geo-political issues. He also has significant expertise in defense contracting and marketing.

Nelson has undergraduate degrees in information technology and psychology and a Masters of Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He has also completed a variety of military leadership and management schools along with various technical schools.

He and his wife Sandy live in Schuyler, N.Y. They have three sons, Jonathan, Nathanial, and Joshua.
