Gary A. Smith is Zogby Internationals Chief of Operations.
Managing the day-to-day operations of Zogby International, Smith is responsible for all project oversight, as well as payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. In this capacity, he reports directly to CEO John Zogby. He also is actively involved in Zogby Internationals planned capital expansion.
Smith, who has 17 years experience in the banking industry, previously worked at the former Herkimer County Trust Company, including five years as manager of the banks largest branch, managing more than $60 million in assets. After serving as assistant vice president and mortgage underwriter for the bank, he joined Zogby International as Comptroller in 2003, taking the lead in major financial reorganization efforts at the polling firm.
Smith earned a degree in mathematics from the State University of New York at Cortland. He also has extensive training in tax preparation, underwriting, and consumer credit.
An avid outdoors enthusiast, Smith enjoys both golf and tennis. He has been active in both the Little Falls Civic Club and Kiwanis International.
He and his wife, Diane, live in Little Falls, N.Y. They have two children, Tara and Bryan.
