Zogby People

Rebecca Wittman, Vice President, Managing Editor

Rebecca Wittman is Zogby International's Vice President/Managing Editor. In that role, she oversees the creation of Zogby International's surveys, scientific reports of survey results, and research papers, as well as the polling firm's flagship publication, Zogby's Real America.

In her decade-plus at Zogby International, Wittman has played an integral role in the polling of three presidential campaigns, as well as an impeachment, a nationally-realigning Congressional election, and the aftermath of September 11.

Wittman has worked with hundreds of clients-ranging from political activists to companies conducting market research-during more than a decade with Zogby International. In addition to personal involvement in meeting the needs of Zogby International's clients, Wittman leads the polling company's six-person Editorial Department.

Wittman has most recently provided her experience and expertise to a client involved in a major class-action lawsuit with national repercussions. Before that, she worked directly with leaders of the Roman Catholic Church to administer an in-depth survey of Catholic attitudes on various social issues.

Wittman's major contributions to Zogby International include designing Zogby International's unique report format, which provides some of the best, and deepest, analysis of trends and the impact of demographic subgroups in the polling world today.

Wittman's survey work has been featured in major national media, including both broadcast networks and cable news, as well as the nation's leading print media.

Wittman was raised in a military family, growing up in Germany, North Carolina, and California. She is a graduate of the State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome, from where she earned her B.S. degree in General Studies with a concentration in English. She also holds an Associates degree in English with a concentration in Art History from Taft Junior College in Taft, Calif.
